Hi!!
I would like to know if there is a limit on API requests in Jira, I don't know if it is relevant but we currently have Jira SM premium although there is a possibility that we will move to Jira Standard.
I have seen this thread opened in April in the community Jira API Rest Calls Limit (atlassian.com) where Naveen Kumar_Appfire mentioned and I quote:
"As per API documentation, the maximum number of issues you can fetch from Jira using API is set to 500 API requests per 5 minutes. So that is the maximum limit."
Although it is not confirmed, I understand that we are talking about the same thing. Can anyone confirm if there is any API requests/usage limit?
Thanks in advance and excuse my ignorance
EDITED: Apparently the link I posted refers to jira server, I found this jira cloud thread Solved: Are there any API Rate limits for Jira Cloud? (atlassian.com) Linked to [JRACLOUD-41876] Adding a limit on REST API request - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
Hi @Andrea Dieguez ,
The issues you've linked are correct,
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/explore-jira-cloud-plans/ the plan details don't mention this either.
With this issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-6192, we can safety say that there is no limitation on this (yet).
If in case you do receive an error please do post it here, and mark it as an Accepted answer so that it can help the other community members too.
