Insight saved filters

Marcell Beres January 28, 2022

Is there a way to save IQL filters in Jira Service Management's Insight on cloud? On on premise platform we have this option.

It is really frustrating to type in every time an IQL search which we use multiple times a day.

Hello @Marcell Beres,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

On Insight Cloud, it’s currently not possible to save IQL filters.

That said, based on your request, I raised a suggestion:

Please, click on Vote for this issue and also Watch it to receive future updates from our product managers.

Kind regards,

Hello @Angélica Luz ,

Thank you for taking your time and creating a suggestion. I'm really grateful for it.
Sad to hear that it is not possible in the cloud however I'm optimistic.
Also Voted for the issue and added myself as a Watcher.

Hey Marcell, hope you're doing fine... I found an old thread that seems to be the same issue, see if it solves your situation:

"From your insight menu, if you click on "Search For Objects" you will be given a page were you can save searches. (there is a save as button to the right of the search bar) The problem is that this page is pretty useless.

You are probably in the "Manage Schema" pages. Those pages have a "filter" bar that you can use to generate a list of object, but that filter is dependent on where you are in the schema, and is not something you can save.

Look at your URL. if it ends in "ObjectSchema.jspa" you are in schemas,

If it ends in "search" you are in object search.

Hope this helps."

Hey guismb,

Thank you for doing your best and helping me out in this this problem. However I believe this article stands for on premise, Isn't It? As I can't even find any "Search For Objects" button which would direct me to the above said page.
Also I'm not sure what do they mean with insight menu.
