Would like to nest Groups. Is this possible?

I would like to be able to nest Groups. I would like groups to inherit certain permissions or gain access to certin dashboards. Since our groups are project-based, it would be nice to have a top level group that allows us to make restrictions in this manner.

Is is possible?

It's depends on the authentication mechanism you use.

If you use crowd for group management, it's possible.
