I created an Atlassian account by mistake and I can’t delete it. I am not associated with any organization, I do not have any paid subscriptions, I do not have any billing profiles. I guarantee you won’t get a penny from me.
I already tried everything, so don’t send me any instructions. You perfectly know that they don’t work. Simply delete my account.
Hello @[deleted]
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Here we are a user community where we a mostly users of the Atlassian products offering advice to other users. We have no access to any of your account information and cannot delete your account for you.
We can try to help you figure out how to delete your account if you tell us what steps you have tried and what the results were.
Thank you for a quick response. I already followed all instructions and tried everything. Their instructions don’t work and they perfectly know that. I am sure they intentionally made account deletion impossible. I only get messages like “You can’t delete youself” or “Your account can’t be deleted”. See screenshots.

Disclaimer: I have not tried to wipe out all the apps in an Organization and then try to delete the Organization and my Atlassian Cloud account.
Did you very recently submit request(s) to cancel the subscription for your Jira (or JSM) app? It can take a while for Atlassian to process the requests and actually execute the final deletion of the app.
I wonder if the Goals and Projects subscriptions would then be removed automatically. I have not yet found anything specific about how to terminate those subscriptions.
When you go to https://admin.atlassian.com/billing, and select Subscriptions, do you see any subscriptions listed in the Inactive tab?
If you have Inactive subscriptions then the cancellation has not yet been fully processed, and I think you will not be able to delete your Organization and Account until then.
In the Atlassian Apps page if you hover over the ! next to Loom, what does it say?

Thank you. I never had a Jira subscription. The free trial subscription to Loom has expired (see screenshot). Hovering mouse over [!] mark shows “App offline. This Loom is currently unavailable” (another screenshot).

I am running into the SAME issue with the Atlassian account that was automatically created for me because of the Loom acquisition. I HATE that this account was automatically created on my behalf and now I can't delete it. I have gone through all of the same steps the person above mentioned, and tried to talk to the AI bot, which was garbage. I was told that because I am not a paying customer I can't contact a real person for support. Awful customer experience!!! Not only are the instructions convoluted and confusing to try to delete my account, I am told I have to wait 14 days to delete it for my 'safety'. This is garbage. This experience has convinced me that I never want to be an Atlassian customer.

In this community we are mostly Atlassian customers ourselves. We don't have access to directly help you delete your accounts or subscriptions. We can offer you advice such as we did for the original poster and again for @tylerlares93 in the separate post Tyler created.
Some of us can even escalate posts here to the Atlassian team. However we can do that only for the original poster. You would need to click the +Ask a Question button at the top of the screen to start your own post.
