Product Update: New Security Offerings and Roadmap

Hello Community! 👋

I just wanted to share some new cloud security offerings that our teams have been working on for many months. We are super excited to share these updates, as we know many of you have been requesting them for some time! 

• You told us you needed encryption at rest — and we listened. We’re rolling out encryption at rest for our cloud product including Jira (JSD, JSWC, JC), Confluence, Statuspage, OpsGenie, and Trello, so your data is protected at all times. Keep in mind, this is currently available for any new cloud sites created after April 10, 2019. Encryption at rest for all existing sites created before April 10, 2019 will be coming soon. 
• We want to provide visibility into our cloud platform roadmap wherever possible, which is why we created the Cloud Platform and Services Roadmap to help your organization plan and grow with Atlassian.
• We're also re-committing to providing you with the information you need to understand and evaluate our security for yourself. We've updated and revamped  the Atlassian Trust Center so you can find more information on our security, privacy, compliance, and reliability initiatives.
• We’ve also improved the performance of our cloud products by doubling the number of AWS regions we support around the world. We started with the US (East and West Coast) and Dublin, then quickly expanded to include Sydney and Singapore. Most recently, we launched an AWS region in Frankfurt to improve performance for our European customers. Check out our infrastructure page to learn more.
