assigning color to custom field

How can I assign a color to custom field regarding to his value ?

Hi Ludo,

 

You can only change the color for Dropdown type Custom Fields. For that type, you can open the Custom Fields settings box and click on the gray box next to each dropdown option, where you'll have the ability to choose a color for each type:

Would this also color the card? So if Ludo were to click on Oahu, the card color would turn green?

Not the card. Ony the custom field.

The only way I found to color the card is a chrome extension : plus for trello.

You can parameter it.

In this case, the color of the first label will be the color of the card too.

Hi, 

It doesn't applicable to the TEXT type? only for dropdown?
