Trello move card > The view jumps also

Hi all,

I have been using the Mac app for years now, and the following problem started happening only today. When I move the card from one list to another, the view also "jumps" to the list where the card was sent. Any ideas on how to turn it off? When the card is moved, the view stays the same? This is super annoying.

Thanks,

Marko

A  workaround seems to be to put the list you're sorting on the very far right; that way it doesn't jump all over the place when you're sending things elsewhere.

No, wait, that actually doesn't work anymore :-/

Hi @Marko Savic, this is indeed an intentional change. Here's a similar post with some context: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Board-shifts-when-I-move-card/qaq-p/2509816#M83817

@Raymond Wang Seen people complaining about this change at least 3 times in the forums the last week, so might be something you need to make a setting to keep people happy

@Raymond Wang Please revert this jump to list feature when card is moved. It is horrible, and needs to be turned on or off. When I organize a large list, and need to scroll back to list each time - this is the WORST feature, and makes me not want to use Trello.

@Raymond Wang Another vote for a crappy update. It's unnecessary and cumbersome.

Trello Recently did a major rework of the code behind the board and began using a new Drag and Drop engine, so issue is properly related to those changes... So all sorts of small changes pop up at the moment and it will be interesting how many are intended and how many are not.
