I've noticed recently the addition of 'smart links' to Trello - however they are not very useful when linking to private things e.g. Slack or HubSpot.
Slack links just show 'Slack' and for HubSpot, it just shows 'Loading...' (it doesn't load, even after leaving it open for ~15 minutes)
Is there a way to switch this off? Or is there a fix in the pipeline to recognise when something is a private link and perhaps leave the whole link as is?
There is another discussion about the downside and annoyance of this new behavior:
Hi @Liz 👋
Welcome to the Community! There's been a few members raise issues around the smart links so you're not alone in this. I've taken a good look through Trello's available settings and it's documentation but unfortunately there is currently no way to disable this feature.
If you have any other questions let me know 😃
All the best,
Laura

The doesn't appear to be anything at present on this topic, I've checked the Trello blog, support documentation and their development roadmaps >> https://trello.com/b/nC8QJJoZ/trello-development-roadmap
It may be something worth raising with Trello Support directly as they could potentially look at making it an editable feature. You can raise a support ticket, upload screenshots, description etc here >> https://trello.com/contact#/

Just checking in @Liz - if you've found the above helpful and would like to help others in the same situation find the right answers and/or solutions then you can opt to accept the answer above, making it easy to find for others 😃

I also need to switch off this feature.
In our work we need to see real links in cards!
Now the only way to publish links and see them - without http(s):// protokol.

but not:

PS:
Will write to support: to making it as an editable feature.
