I am quite upset that I have lost these screengrabs. They were my how-to-guide for filing my tax return here in Germany and now I have to try and muddle through again from scratch.
I tried all the suggestions from this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Why-are-the-images-in-the-description-not-displaying-properly/qaq-p/2794129 but they did not work. Does anyone have any suggestions.
I'm now going to to through all my boards/cards and back up any pictures somewhere else if I can't rely on Trello not to lose them.

Based on my experience, this issue might be related to file storage limits or syncing issues on Trello’s side. When image previews become unavailable, they are often recoverable by re-uploading the file or ensuring the file is correctly linked to an active storage location.
For a long-term solution, backing up your images outside Trello is a smart move. Additionally, reaching out to Trello support with the specific card details might help recover the images if they are still stored in their system.

I have other screengrabs that are either older or newer than these specific ones and they are working with no problems so I am thinking sync issue rather than storage issue.

Ah I am unable to contact them as the customer support for personal users doesn't give access to actual customer support and just goes round in circles, only support is through the community. Oh well, disappointing.
