×I've heard theres a Chrome extension workaround but my company strictly uses Microsoft Edge with no similar extension available.
Is there any way to get rid of shortcuts altogether???
Its absolutely putting a hard stop to my work flow. I can no longer do a "copy" command in the pdf viewing screen without Trello registering the "C" key and then promptly archiving it!
Hi @Shipping Dept ,
Welcome to the community!
I have searched other posts about this issue and found https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Is-it-possible-to-modify-or-disable-keyboard-shortcuts/qaq-p/589535.
But, it seems that this indeed only covers a user-made workaround for Firefox and Chrome. Additionally, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-100 is created for improving this, but so far, it doesn't seem to get a lot of traction. You should at least start watching that issue and adding your vote to it in the top right corner.
But honestly, for a ticket that's open that long, it doesn't give a lot of hope for any resolution.
We could try tagging @Sosthen who created that plugin, to see if they are able to deliver this for Edge as well. But, I'm unsure if this user is still active in any way and reading this.
Hi,
Thanks for the @, I got the email!
@Shipping Dept
EDIT : I installed Edge to test and going to the chrome extension page showed me a banner in the top of the page to install it on Edge:
You coul try to do the same, or check the Microsoft help here to enable other extensions if you don't see this banner.
Here the link of the chrome extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/trello-shortcuts-killer/feabcbdhaecgmefkmiblohaniammgifg?pli=1
If that doesn't work please tell me and I'll take a look to see if I can release the extension on the Edge store.
