  1. Dear Trello team,

The custom field power up is very useful addition to cards making it possible to create many applications around list and cards.

There are how two limitations that I hope you can address.

1) the ability to hide or limit visibility to admin only would although application to capture data need not be revealed to team members or public but required by the application backend processing like flags (beyond labels because it appears that these can be changed even on public boards)

2) arrange the placements of the fields with a card ( I think the alternative is to rebuild the cards and rebuilding fields from scratch which can only be done before deployment)

Update : found this but have not tried.

  • Reorder fields: Drag and drop fields in the settings menu to reorder them on the card back, allowing you to surface the most important information in the order you see best.

@milynnus yep you can reorder the fields in powerup settings. If you have some information that you want to store about a card you could store it in your application backend, or you could for example create a linked card in a hidden board that has your private information on it.

The proposed alternative of a linked card is definitive workable - Just more processing. Thanks.
