I want to have a dashcard that shows the total of the fees assigned to each card and I want that field displayed on the card with a $. Dashcards can sum numeric fields but you are unable to have a $ appear in a numeric field. Text fields can have a $ sign but can't be summed on a dashcard. Is there any way to have the fee field display the $ and be totaled on the dashcard?
Thanks
Hi Baruti,
This is indeed not possible because of the limitations between Dashcards, numeric fields and text fields.
However, a viable workaround could be to edit your custom field name to include the $ sign - e.g. Cost ($). Since the custom field name is referenced on a Dashcard performing a sum, the $ sign will then be shown above the actual sum.
Hope this helps!
