Is there a way to restrict card access to specific board members? And prevent members from archiving or deleting the cards.

You can try Hipporello's Card Share Power-Up. It allows you to grant access to some cards by publishing them on a user portal, where only the person you've shared them with can view them. The person you share certain cards with will not have access to the rest of your board.

Hello, from your response I understand that the restriction managed by this tool (Hipporello's Card Share Power-Up) concerns whether or not cards can be shared; however, the expressed need is to be able to share a card with a team member while removing their ability to delete, modify, or archive it.

Is my understanding correct?

I was very enthusiastic when I discovered Trello, but I quickly became disappointed when I realized that it's not possible to restrict the deletion, modification, etc., of cards!
