Hi,
I have 2+ experience in JIRA and have been working as a Scrum Master. I am planning to get certified - which certification is advised - ACP600 or ACP100?
Hello @Saravana Manikandan Subramanian
This webinar is a great starting place.
In this webinar you will get an insider take on how to go from zero to certified using Atlassian University courses and resources. It's perfect if you have been curious about Atlassian Certification—especially how best to prepare for an exam AND how to decide which exam is best for you.

ACP-600 would be a place to start. Especially, base on the background you have. ACP-100 is more towards if you have been a Jira administrator and managing the Jira instance. Also, it's recommended that you have experience before taking the exam. Otherwise, it will be even more challenging because the exam topics go over business requirements of Jira administrator role.
As @Marynel Soto mentioned, base on your background, next suggested step would be the ACP-300. Then that you give you good foundation to start moving into the ACP-100 and during that time possibly practice on a test instance or gain some experience in Jira Administration.

Hello @Saravana Manikandan Subramanian ,
Pls confirm what you want to achieve through this certification, and then confirm which certification to participate in. For most users, ACP-600 will be the first choice, and then gradually participate in other certifications.
ACP-100
Jira Administrators manage, customize, and configure Jira from within the Jira user interface. ACP Certification in Jira Administration covers the skills needed to optimize Jira for any development or business team.

ACP-600
Certified Jira Project Administrators are the power users who know how to configure projects and boards, customize workflows and manage project permissions in their organization's Jira Server or Data Center instance. They live in Jira day-to-day, and can help scale their instance to meet the demand of their business, so their Jira Administrator and teams can get more work done.

BTW, there are some articles in the community about the comparison of the two and how to learn to deal with the exam, please refer to the following posts.

Hello
Since you have been working as a SM, I would suggest you start with ACP-600 and then think about ACP-300.
Keep in mind that they expire after 2y and you renew them by taking skillbuilder tests or other certifications so plan your journey wisely :)

Just passed ACP-600, 1st attempt... I would suggest to you that start from ACP-600
I wish I knew that from ACP-600 I would have a good training related to the concepts, that in my mind I understood putting my cloud service desk online.... But I didnt have the foundation.
Im working with Jira for the last 2 years and half....
The Atlassian Exams are full blended in concepts and best practies...
Last year I passed in ACP-400, two attemps...
ACP-600 was as hard as ACP-400 to study and pass...
I do regret of trying JSD first, because it took me more time, that would have if I had this "suggestion" of starting ALWAYS from ACP-600.....
ACP-100 will stay in my personal "one day cert list" - I assume its harder then 600 and 400...
In the mean while, I will use Exam Topis from ACP-100 to apply in my day to day work, so, I will be better prepared for the future ACP-100.
I hope this helps...

Hello.
I know you've received many answers and that ACP-600 does seem like the best choice for you, but I just wanted to add a note to let you know that you should only consider ACP-100 if you plan on actually administering Jira one day. I passed my ACP-100 with about 2 years of Jira Admin experience (and independent studying, of course) and it was a pretty hard exam.
Good luck!

Hi All,
Thanks a lot for all the valuable information. After careful consideration, I have decided to start of with ACP-600 and then gradually take others as and when needed.
Thanks again!
