Time line duration longer than 18 month in next-gen roadmap

I've created a project in JIRA next-gen. Some of the epics are are up to four years - Is it possible to scale the roadmap view to include the entire project period?  It seems like there is a limitation of 18 month.

Hi Johnni, If you are in the months view you can view for 24 months. However, if you are in Quarter view the time span looks 8 quarters. As of now, I don't see an option to increase the duration in the roadmap. Will surely revert back after verifying with next gen teams :-)

Thank you for the answer. Did you get a verification from the next-gen team? 

Is it possible that the view will be expanded, or even more custom-able in a later version of JIRA?

Yeah even I saw the same, I am able to view for 24 months. But if you want you may use Portfolio for Jira by Atlassian where you can customize the view :D

Thank you for your reply. 

I believe if I just have the functionality to customize the road map time frame, then all my requirements have been met. So I think it is wasteful to pay additional 10 USD per month just to get that view :-)
