Is there a way to connect changes made in WBS Gantt-Chart to the issues?

Hi,

Is there a way to connect changes made in WBS Gantt-Chart to the issues? Jira tasks of any type can be edited within the WBS Gantt-Chart view but they are not connected to the actual Jira issue. If you edited the name and then you open the Jira issue, the name and other information like that the start date, end date, due date, etc is not updated. Which means that the Road Map and the Gantt do not contain the same information. 

The edit function should be connected in both apps.

i set the JRE_HOME in setenv.sh manually to the jira jre path. now that works fine. but now its a performance problem :) catalina.out says: Could not reserve enough space for object heap

i immediately ordered a bigger vserver at my hoster. from mid of next week on i will have a dual core driven, 8gb RAM, Linux Sever running Ubuntu and with NO PLESK anymore.

I think with this machine jira will work much better.

i will post my experiences asap.

Odd, I'd check the "setenv.sh" file to begin with - that's the usual place to do environment stuff
