Couldn't log on actual time spent in issues

When I work on Jira stories, anyhow I couldn't log the actual time spent, I mean there is no 'Time tracking' field in my created issues. Also in 'Issue Actions' menu, there is no ' log time spent working on it' menu item.

What is the Estimate configuration done on the board? Set it to story points and you can then edit the story points in Issue Detail View.

OR

Just simply open the issue in JIRA and you can update both Story points and Estimate if you need. (using both looks strange to me though)
