How to restore tasks to their older status?

I opened an existing project in JIRA and unknowingly changed all the existing status to the ones I wanted. I thought it would change only to my epic but instead it changed for all and assigned "To Do" status by default to all existing tasks because that's what my first status is. 

How can I restore a backup for the whole project?

So in JIRA Admin, Issues -> Screens -> Screens -> Selected Screen Configuration?

It is already at the top, but always appears below the tabs.
