How to change epic for multiple issues?

I filtered the issues that I wanted and went into the bulk change edit panel however there was no field in there to change or assign a parent / epic. Is that not possible currently?

If not what's the most efficient way of quickly changing the epic for many tasks (or more specifically adding an epic to many related tasks)

You can use the workflow properties;  jira.field.resolution.include

In addition to the answer from Joe, "jira.field.resolution.exclude" can also be used.

And if in connection with some transitions only one resolution should be available, consider use a transition view in which the resolution field is not available and you just add the resolution in the post function, edit field, resolution, Fixed (e.g. for the Complete status).
