Version Start date and end dates can be changed anytime. Can we set any restrictions?

How to add common text field (custom Field ) to all issue types

I would like to store PRs location as text field for story,bug,task,subtask. How to add custom field which is common for all issue type?

On a small note: There is a feature request about having audit logs for version changes

Hi Shampa,

Unfortunately there is no way to restrict that. Any user that has the JIRA 'Project Administrator' permission in the relevant project can create versions in Greennhopper.
