Hi,
I've tried to create a next gen project and as it works a project admin and create new custom fields that are project specific.
When looking in the custom fields list these fields are not to be found there. Can someone explain how they are stored?
Another question I have is how this will affect performance? It can potentially be hundreds or thousands of new fields if project admins start to create fields on their own.
Thanks in advance,
Johan
Hello,
Next-gen projects do not see fields, which are created by Issues -> Custom Fields. You need to create new fields for a next-gen project in the project settings -> issue types.
I am not sure about performance, but if Atlassian introduced next-gen projects, I guess, this projects must work with many custom fields.
Though it would be interesting to hear an explanation from Atlassian.
