JIRA iPad app shows tasks (stories) in Board view instead of subtasks

I migrated my project from Classic to Next-gen. Now the iPad app only shows the main tasks (stories) in Board view instead of actual subtasks. This worked as expected with Classic Projects, with all the items being tasks and stories shown as swim lanes.

I don't any option to reconfigure it. Is this normal?
