Had a few questions about working in next-gen projects I was hoping someone could answer.
1. When will sub-tasks be supported? I know this is logged in the 'coming soon' section of the JIRA roadmap, but does anyone have some experience in how quickly these deliverables ship?
2. Is there any interface to view issues which have been completed in prior sprints? One we complete a sprint any issues which were considered 'done' seem to go away entirely.
3. Is there a way to create new custom-field types for issues? For instance, a multi-line field? There seems to be a very limited selection of custom field types to add to issues in the Issue Type configuration.
Hi Brian,
Thank you for reaching out to Community!
1 - Currently, we don't have a date for when Sub-Tasks will be available. According to the comment on this bug, the dev team is working and it will be available as soon as possible.
We also have a feature request about sub-tasks on next-gen:
2 - You can find all issues on the Burnup report directly in the project, or on Issues and Filters > Search issues by filtering by project and sprint.
3 - Currently, it's not possible to add custom fields that are created for classic projects. There's a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the features.
Hope this clarifies.
If you have any other question, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
