I'm working with multiple teams, each with their own Jira project. These teams have coordinated epics, milestones and releases.
We initially tried next-gen projects, but we couldn't find a good way to coordinate across projects: epics, versions, boards and roadmaps are all tied to a single project in next-gen, and Portfolio doesn't support next-gen.
We ended up using classic projects so we could share epics & boards, and potentially use Portfolio. I'd love shared Versions too, but it sounds like I shouldn't hold my breath.
So, am I missing something? Is there a method for coordinating work across multiple next-gen projects beyond tags & dependencies?
Thanks, David
A master road-map would be great along with shared versions(which is something I have been asking for for years). I have each of our project leads update smartsheets manually for now. It's a little more manual work but it accomplishes the same thing.
