Can you start using new-gen project space to run actual projects?

I was just wondering if we could actually start using the new gen project space for our projects. If we start putting our tasks in, and the space is getting developed how will it affect our data,if something changes in near future?

You can safely use next-gen projects for production, if something changes on projects' templates, it will be new features, but your tickets and boards won't be affected.
