Can I add a custom multi-line field in next gen + jira software + cloud?

I don't see text (multi-line) as an option in my project. I have a next gen software project for jira cloud. Any workarounds for this limitation? I want to include a field for a public facing summary. short text is too short.

Currently, Jira offers to style for short text entry using a single-line text box.
