I am utilising the System -> External System Import -> CSV function.
I am attempting to import issues that I exported from another JIRA cloud instance.
The CSV contains a Custom Field (Story Points) column, which has numerical values.
When attempting to import the CSV file, the mapping dropdown does not have a `Story Points` option. This means I cannot map the story points over.
The Story Points field is present on my create / edit issue views for this project.
I had the same issue.
I solved the problem by adding the field in the "Configure Screen - Jira"
https://XXXX.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ConfigureFieldScreen.jspa?id=12345
We are having the same issue and this is a very serious one. We are manually adding the SP to all the hundred of tickets we have injected by CSVs.
Do we have an ETA of when this can be fixed?
Thank you

I managed to resolve by enabling the Story points field on all issue types.

Thanks. How did you do that? We have been using the Story Points fields for years now and we never disabled them. Technically, they are still enabled. Did you disabled and enabled them all again? Thanks in advance.

Go to:
I had to set the applicable issue types to "Any issue type".
Also ensure that you are importing via System -> External System Import -> CSV as importing from the issue explorer doesn't appear to allow mapping of many of the fields (for reasons I don't know).

Enabling story points for all issue types didn't work for me. The same goes for other custom fields
