Can I monitor myown API using Statuspage and how?

I need a way to monitor myown APIs and see the performance and updates on Statuspage

This is Tejaswi from the statuspage team.

You can monitor APIs via the statuspage and only show the uptime status of it via the statuspage. 

I recommend you to write a custom script using our statuspage APIs which would monitor the status of your API and push the statusupdates to Statuspage components via the APIs.
