Our new instance of JIRA Core (server) is connected to Active Directory (AD). Most of our users have usernames that are just 2 characters long (example: lk). When testing for a few users, I find that the users with a 2 character username cannot log in, while users with longer usernames have no problem.
Is there a minimum length of usernames defined somewhere? I can find no documentation on this.
If there is a limit, can this be changed somehow?
Sorry for the late response.
As far as I know, Jira Core does not have a minimum username length requirement, but the Active Directory (AD) configuration might have a minimum username length policy in place.
