JIRA Re-Indexing Failure

Whenever I try to perform a re-index I get the following Error:

Problem was caused by having an Issue in the system with no Project set. Ran an SQL query against the backend database, deleted the offending issue and re-index then worked proplery.

Discovered in JIRA 5.2.8 as well - Issue only had a summary in the database, all other columns were empty. Removing those two issues from the DB fixed the indexing issue.
