Is there any way to create a custom field which shows sum of two numbers from other field?

Miki Yuzawa May 22, 2012

Hi,

The last two numer in the screenshot represents "Business Value" and "Technical Compexity." I would like to add another cusotom field to represent the sum of two numbers. Is this possible?

Thank you!

Miki

We created a scripted field using a groovy script, but Greenhopper doesn't support it either. can't add it to a card/summary/list view. In fact, when trying to ORDERBY the field there are problems. We are hoping GH will support it, because we have to run queries and export to excel to get the views we want. *sigh*

Hi Miki,

look here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/31441/how-do-i-use-calculated-number-fields-in-greenhopper

it seems, you can create this field with the JIRA Misc Custom Fields Plugin, but you cannot use it in GreenHopper.

Best regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your reply.

OK, we cannot use the feature in GreenHopper :(
