How to validate 2 check-box fields?

Hi,

I have 2 check-box fields and want validate both of them in a transition. EX: in order for a test to ramp up, we need 2 different approvals. If A's approval is missing, then generate error message "Need A's approval" next to A's approval field; if B's approval is missing, then generate error message "Need A's approval" next to B's approval field

I added 2 simple script validators but only the 1st one works. The second one does not work at all. Why? is there a way to require both criteria?
