How do I rename the transition buttons in JIRA?

I would like to rename the Assign button that appears on every page or workflow of the Bug Life Cycle. I am unable to find this option in the documentation. Can you please help solving this problem?

Note that if you want to edit the buttons for the default Transitions (Closed, Resolved, Open, etc.), you will need to go into the Workflow editor, click on a given Transition label's gear icon, select Transition Properties, and edit the "jira.i18n.title" to be the new label you want. Simply editing the title isn't enough.

You should create a draft of the workflow first. Then, will be able to edit the step/transitions.
