Date format on JIRA

rakhi September 12, 2012

In 4.4 when an issue is created last wednesday, date shows the format as:

Created: Wednesday 11.30AM

I have changed it to show 05/Sep/12 11.30AM

but if a issue is created yesterday it will show the format as
Yesterday 03.42PM.

how do I change the date format so that Instead of yesterday it shows the proper yesterday's date ?

Is it possible?

There is no way to change the Yesterday's format ..Other formats can be changed by look and feel

I was looking for the same thing just now. It is actually possible to disable relative dates in JIRA. Have a look here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Disable+Relative+Dates+in+JIRA

You might want to check the date format under the Look and Feel if the format had specified correctly as it affect the date presentation on screen.
