How to copy next gen project tasks to server based Jira Edited

Hello Community,

with a customer i keep track of change requests and improvements they like to implement on our Descartes TMID system.  (www.descrates.com) . Currently we use an Excel for this  with all its limitations. As atlassian partner I chose a next-gen project in the cloud so we have a common platform, rather then going through security limitations on customer and Descartes-side.

The team in Descartes to work on the change requests operates on a Jira server based instance.

How can i seamlessly move tasks from next-gen project to Jira server based?

Hello @Friendly Giant ,

With next-gen projects they are not compatible with a migration to the server platform,  and you would first want to look int converting the projects from next-gen to a classic project, then plan the move to the new platform.

Details on converting the project is covered in the documentation at "Migrate between next-gen and classic projects"

Regards,
Earl

Thanks a million @Earl McCutcheon  I will follow that path
