How do you track a Kanban project's progress in Advanced Roadmaps?

Dwight Pfundstein January 15, 2021

We are using the Advanced Roadmaps (previously Portfolio) to help us manage Projects.

I have built a plan  for a Kanban project. I'm curious to see how folks are tracking their deliverables.

I am using the "Progress Issue Count" field to track. How are other people doing this??

Thanks

Dwight

Hi @Dwight Pfundstein

Few things you can do.

  • Make sure your estimation is based on days or hours
  • Use the Progress issue count
  • In the View settings: roll up dates and others. This will ensure you have information at all levels
  • Create few views to display information grouped by Assignee, Project and may be Release

Apart from these there are not yet other reports in Advanced Roadmaps, I think Atlassian will add more reports in future but you can always rely on standard Jira reports and of course your Kanban board.

I hope it helps.
