Jira Service Desk - Help Center Portal - Customize Requests Options

Hello - In Jira Service Desk, in the Requests section - can you customize the fields here.  For example,

Right now I have a drop down where the options are:

- Create by anyone

- Created by me

- Where I am a participant

I would love to

1. See the logic behind the 3 drop down options (especially the "where I am a participant")

2. Add a drop down option - "Where I am a Watcher"

Thanks for any insights you can provide!

@Emily Lukasik - hi Emily!

Out of the box, it isn't possible to customize the dropdowns under the Requests pop-up.

To explain the dropdown you're asking about:

  1. Created by anyone - will show all issues matching #2 and #3 below:
  2. Created by me - will filter for issues you have created via the support portal
  3. Where I am a participant - will filter for issues where you've been added to the "Request Participants" field

"Created by anyone" is unclear, and there's a suggestion to clarify it.

If you want to see issues where you're a watcher, perform an issue search with:

watcher = currentUser()

Hope this helps!
