Get ready for 🍻🍂 Apptoberfest🍂🍻!

Starting October 1, we’ve got a month of app-related fun in store here in the Atlassian Community. So fasten your seatbelts and dust off your lederhosen, because we’re bringing you … 🥁🥁🥁 Apptoberfest!

A couple of months ago, we asked you to weigh in on the Marketplace app use cases that you wanted to learn more about. We got a lot of responses (thank you to those who participated!) and the consensus was clear. You want to learn more about apps that could help you with:

• Analytics and reporting

• Project management

• Charts and diagramming

• Jira workflows

With this feedback in mind, Apptoberfest will consist of weekly opportunities to learn about and share your experiences with apps and integrations that solve these four challenges in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Bitbucket.

Plus, we’ve got the makers of the Marketplace’s most innovative, useful apps for analytics, project management, charts and diagrams, and Jira workflows ready to share quick demos of their apps as part of an 📹 App demo competition. Vote for your favorite demo(s) by liking the post! Winners will be announced at the end of Apptoberfest.

In addition to these events here on Community, Community Leaders and Marketplace Partners will be hosting app-themed events about apps from all categories! Filter by “Marketplace Apps” on ace.atlassian.com to find Apptoberfest events in your time zone starting October 1.

So hop on an event, share, like your favorite demo video, and get involved — the most engaged Community members will be rewarded with Apptoberfest-themed swag 🎁

Looking forward to learning more about Marketplace apps in a fun way! Though, researching apps is already fun as it is, but why not have a beer when checking them out? 🍻

I'm curious about what custom field customization (special custom fields, or dynamic functionality) is possible with JSM Cloud nowadays. I know of at least one tool for on-prem Jira Service Management that's pretty nifty with extending JSM. 🙂
