why are my issues not visible?

Hi Christopher,

Is this in JIRA or JIRA Agile? If it's in JIRA, you need to have Browse Projects permission in this particular project to view the issues. If it's in JIRA Agile, you need to make sure your columns are correctly mapped on the board.

I just discovered the same thing. In my case it was the way  my workflow is setup. I had to start my process in order for the task to become visible. My workflow had no holding state for new tasks

Did you check if you (and the users who should be able to see the issues) have Browse Project permission on the project?

Have you got permission to see them?  Check project permissions -> browse
