user cannot able to change ticket's status from "Open" to "In Progress"

Hi Team,

 

After creation of a ticket user cannot able to move the ticket from "open" to "In progress"  status  "In progress" transition is not visible on the on the ticket.

As per my investigation in the workflow I could not see any validation/condition/post function implemented from Open---->In progress

When I try to cloneJIRASUP-25363.PNGJIRASUP-25363_1.PNGJIRASUP-25363_2.PNG the ticket I could see the "In Progress" button

Does the user have the transition issue permission? They won't be able to execute a transition if they don't have that.

 

The other item that you could check on is to see if any other transition leading out of the "Open" status has an error on a condition. Jira will sometimes prevent all transitions out of a status if it cannot properly interpret a condition. I can't quite tell from your screenshot whether or not you've got any other transitions leading out of the "Open" status.
