Hello, i have just purchased Jira on demand with the 30 day free trial and i am a total beginner.
I am also a first year IT student who is trying to self learn this so i can not afford to pay for any training. Most software i would expect to come with free training videos on how to get started and use certain applications. Does Jira have free training instructions and where would i find them. Can you please send me a direct link.
I do not even know how to put in tasks for a project i would like to start working on. Scrum has a 'product backlog' where all things to be done (deliverables/tasks) are added. Where is this on Jira.
Then i need to have friends start to assign themselves on the big list of tasks i have inputed into Jira. They will be developers and designers who will build a website.
Please show me training videos on how to achieve this as this is why i am using JIRA.
Thanks
Mile
Online documentation is the best starting point1

Hello, I've just started with Jira for my projects (research tasks at GSU). I used only Guru99, Nickelled and Lynda tutorials. But now I want to learn advanced Jira. Are there any Jira tutorials by Atlassian University for advanced learners?

There are plenty of free videos on utube, but this one covers the basics from Atlassian.

You will need to buy a greenhopper license as well if you want to deal with scrum.
The best thing is to search yourself and find something online that meets your needs. Simple searches will find what you need.
You can get a project up and running within minutes if you can live with the default settings and the default settings are good enough for basic projects.
Just remember, you are restricted to the number of users your license support and all licenses must supports the same number of people.
