@Franer Rodrigues Welcome to the Atlassian community

In Jira Software cloud, in the board's general configuration there is a setting called Hide completed issues older than. The default setting is 2 weeks.  You can change this to 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks or never.  If you choose never you will want to use the filter query to eventually get rid of issues so the board does not become overloaded with resolved issues.

You can access the board settings if you are a project admin or a board admin by clicking on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.

Then under the board general and filter section, you will see the hide completed issues setting.

Hi Franer  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What type of project are you using? Team-managed? Company-managed? Jira Work Management?

With Team-managed projects and Jira Work Management/Business projects, Done issues automatically disappear from the board after 2 weeks. There is not currently another way to prevent this from happening with those built in boards.

Why would you impose this on EVERYONE? Who decided that this should happen? Why did you select two weeks? I have SEVERAL projects in flight that I can't use Jira for now because it looks like we haven't done any work. Clients like to see that you're making progress. As it stands it looks like we have 63 items to do and that we've only completed three.

This has got to be one of the stupidest things I have seen in such a robust software suite.

I concur, removing the ability to toggle the time is a bug, not a function.

Has this functionality improved yet? I agree, this is quite silly.

Hi @Elizabeth Butler

No, unfortunately not yet.  Here is the open suggestion to change that, which you may vote for / watch to see progress:

Kind regards,

Does anyone know if you have to pay to access this feature?

AKA do you need premium to see completed tasks older than 2 weeks?

The way this is working right now, you need to keep track of all your tasks and then input it to Jira.

Hi @Franer Rodrigues

When you look at the board settings what does the Hide completed issues older than show?

Thanks,

Tim
