set up automation for two workflows in project

Hello Atlassian Community!

I need help setting up automation. In my project, I have two workflows for issue types: Epic and Task, Bug.

I need to configure automation so that when an Epic transitions from POST-RELEASE TEST to DONE status, the child issues of this Epic change their status from READY TO RELEASE to Done. Please provide guidance with all necessary rules included.

Hi Alexei,

If you have your rule started, please share that. 

Basically, you want to create an automation rule based on an Issue Transitioned trigger. Add a a Condition for Issue Type = Epic. 

Then add a Branch and use the Children option. 

Then under the Branch, add an Action for Transition Issue. Select the appropriate values.
