Hi, When replying to a someone (from a Jira ticket), who has an 'out of office' message set, we don't see that message being emailed back to the Jira, do you know why?
We tried tracing the message flow from O365 to the mailbox but there is no record of it being sent, so I presume it might be a configuration on O365 which is stopping the email being sent when the email is origintaing from a Jira ticket.
The 'out of office' email is being sent when you test directly from MS Outlook.
Thanks
Hi @George Christodoulou and @Florin Cosma ,
I'm not sure why that happens, but I am aware that it happens, unfortunately. It probably has to do with the fact that most users would not consider it a clean experience to have out of office messages from Outlook appearing as comments in tickets.
I know of a workaround in Jira Cloud, where you can basically connect Outlook to Jira with through Zapier, using the Out of Office Assistant plugin. For full disclosure, I am the product manager for that app. However, I don't think that works so far in the case of the Server / Data Center app. You could however reach out to the guys at Akeles to make sure that they're aware of the problem and they may be able to recommend something.
