I have learnt that the size limitation of attachments:
For Jira Cloud:
The default per file is 1 GB. The maximum attachment size per file is 2 GB.
But I'd like to learn about is there number of files limitation per each jira ticket? If I want to upload more than 500 files, the total size of them won't exceed 2 GB. It will be accepted by the jira ticket?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @xiaolin_zheng welcome to the community! Based on this article from Atlassian you can attach up to 2000 files per issue. There are some other limits in that article that may be of use to you as well, but if you're going to upload 500 files, based on that article, you should be OK.
Hope that helps.
Hi @xiaolin_zheng , welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You can add up to 2000 attachments to an issue.
Once an issue has over 150 attachments, they’ll display as a list.

Hey @xiaolin_zheng ,
Welcome to the community!
As per the update on this feature request, up to 120 attachments are supported on an issue.
While you can upload more, you might notice performance issues after around 170 attachments or so.
There is another public ticket which suggests to provide the admins with ability to set the number of attachments: Having the option to specify the total attachment count limit per issue.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Karan
