mentions does not fill in a user.

Tried multiple ways, using @ or the mentions button.

Tried in firefox and chrome.

It works on this page in this part of atlassion but does not work in my works atlassian jiras.

Hi @Nathan Holder 

Are you trying to mention in the description field?

If you ware trying to do it on a custom field then you may want to take a look at this page.

In general it could be due to lack of permission. Take a look at this page as well. Basically Ensure that the user has Browse User global permission.
