Hi, @shamil707. As it turns out, Atlassian just announced some big changes in this area at Team’24 in Las Vegas. Simplified:

OLD

  • Jira Work Management = Jira for business teams
  • Jira Software = Jira for software teams
  • Jira Service Management = Jira for support teams (internal or customer facing)

NEW

  • Jira =  Jira for business and software teams
  • Jira Service Management = no change

You can read more about the announcement if you’d like in a summary from Adaptavist, an Atlassian Solution Partner. I’m citing this summary only because it ranks first in a Google search 😉

Atlassian’s homepage also has a link to a video of the announcement.

Hopefully this answers you question,

-dave

Given the direction things are moving, I would say, yes, you can.

However, the new “Jira” that you will see very soon will include the capabilities of Jira Work Management and Jira Software.

After the change, you may want to take some online training from Atlassian. They also announced this week that all online training will be free now.

Best,

-dave

You should already be seeing the name changes now.
