is "Automation" in Jira Built-in supports auto create ticket when one created in another instances?

JG January 21, 2025

I have two JIRA instances (hosted at different data center), I would like to explore the "Automation" in Jira Built-in.

does it support such use case:

1. JIRA-1 : user create a new bug with attachments. admin add a tag "NewBug".

2. Automation triggered from JIRA-1 to JIRA-2 (triggered by the tag).

3. A new bug ticket created automatically in JIRA-2. With a new tag "JIRA-1-Bug" and custom field in JIRA-1 "Ref-URL = the jira ID from JIRA-1".

Hello, Good day. You can create an automation in site A to send the webhook data to the site B. On site B you could create an automation rule on incoming webhook to take actions.
