Hi,
I'm able to setup the automation to create a new Jira ticket in another project when a new Jira ticket is created in my current project.
However, once I have the 2 tickets in the two different Jira projects, howe do I sync status and comment update in my the current project ticket and see the updates on the other project?
Thank you,
Quoc
Hi @Quoc Pham ,
You already handled the first part. After that, you just need two other automations which triggers are Comment added or Issue Transitioned.
Then, you can do the required operation for each Linked issues (with the specific link type, or you can even use JQL here to detect the issue that you created at first automation).
Similar to that one:
Thank you Salih, I've added what you have here, but it does not seem to work.
I'm not able to see the updates to the other project ticket with my update to this current project ticket.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Then, can you please share more details (and screenshots) about your tickets and the automations that you created?
And also, can you check the "Audit log" section of the automation and share the logs if there are any warning and/or error?

Thank you Salih, I'm able to set it up now.
Your picture does help as it helps me fixed the "creation automation" to have more info to make the tickets linked. Once linked I was able to add the other "comment automation"
thanks,
Quoc

Great to hear it! Please mark it as accepted if it worked for you.
