how to move status of epic parent task of story that are connected by epic link in post function?

Currently we are assigning stories to epics using the epic link. However when all the stories associated to the epic are being closed out, we would like the epic to close out as well.

There is a post function for regular stories and subtask and was wondering if there is a similar funciton for the epics via epic links as well?

Please let me know if more clarification is needed.

The link between a Story and an Epic isn't handled the way a regular parent-subtask relation is (Epic Link is a custom field), and so that association cannot be utilized in your Workflow settings. At least not without a custom add-on, and as you're using OnDemand - it won't be an option. You'll need to complete your Epics manually.

What would the custom add on be if we were to move to a hosted option on our end?
